Principal Pruitt will take care of including in the school’s marketing

Brick Pavers – Buck Simpers
Principal Pruitt will see about getting the bricks in place
Start selling marked bricks
Once we sell 30 marked bricks, place the order and replace 30 unmarked bricks; repeat process
Discussion and agreement to sell bricks for $78 each
Proceeds from bricks will go to Alumni fund and support school projects
Buck will get an enlarged drawing of exact location to have available at October 25 event

Football Players
Suggestion: Bob and/or Gerry could attend a practice and talk to the players
Get list of players from coaches (Barry Polsky, Jr. and Bob Wolford) and try and match up a former player with a current player (buddy system)

Cheerleaders – Geri (Renai) Brainard – not present
Alumni Association Website – Harry Rogerson
Discussion and agreement that we would have our own website: www.conradalumni.com which will be linked to Harry’s website and the school’s website
Most important to get up and running now
Discussion and agreement on our Mission Statement to be on the website.

Homecoming Events – Kim Greer, PTO
October 25, 2008
Pep Rally scheduled for 10/24/08 at 1:30 p.m. in Conrad gym
Breakfast at 8:30 a.m.
Girl’s Volleyball at 10 a.m.
Conrad versus McKean Football game at 11 a.m.
A parade is scheduled before game with 8th, 9th & 10th grade floats
Pep band will be included
Soccer at 12 noon
High School Homecoming Dance – 7-11 pm. in Conrad gym
Middle school will sell yellow mums
Eleanor will look into getting a tent for Alumni promotion
Concession stand needs volunteers to relieve parents so they can be present for their child’s game
Kim reported Athletic Boosters are meeting 9/25/08 at 6:30 and further details will be forwarded to the Alumni Association after the meeting

Dance/Auction (Beef & Beer) – Ozzie Cheban
November 22, 2008 (Hockessin Fire Hall) – 6-11 p.m. 

PTO Activities – Kim Greer
Kim handed out a copy of PTO Calendar of Events for 2008/2009
Kim reported that the PTO is still looking for someone to head up the Performance Arts Boosters
