MEETING MINUTES - OCTOBER 19, 2009 – CONRAD LIBRARY

The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. by Buck Simpers.

A correction was made to the Treasurer’s report in the August 17 meeting minutes. The Current Balance should be $3,203.73. The Minutes were approved as corrected.

Treasurer’s Report – Brenda Saulsbury reported
Receipts totaling $1,067.07 and Expenses of $455.00. Current Balance as of October 19 is $3,815.80.

Committee Reports

Fundraising – Mary Ellen Vitsorek reported

Membership – Paul Stratton reported

Events – Susan Strawbridge reported

Liaison/Mentor

Communications – Harry Rogerson reported

Museum/Historical – Tim Laushey reported

Tim and Principal Pruitt collaborated and the area above Library will be designated for Museum. Discussion around securing area; access could be an issue.

Unfinished Business

Kim Greer reported:

Beef and Beer
100 tickets sold to date; there will be a few tickets sold at the door. Many silent auction items have been obtained for the event.

Homecoming –

PTO Meetings are every second Thursday of the month; anyone is welcome to attend.
Sports Boosters meetings are held the fourth Thursday of every month but this week’s is changed to the 29th.

No New Business

Motion made by Harry Rogerson to adjourn meeting and seconded by Tom Skelly. Approved.

Meeting adjourned at 7:30pm.
